Introducing the Good Citizen Program

Introducing the Good Citizen Program

At Piper Loop, we believe good dogs deserve good citizens.

The Good Citizen Program is a monthly challenge built around a simple idea: that spending meaningful time with our dogs — and with each other — makes for a better community. For all of us.

Each month we'll introduce a new theme with ideas and ways to participate. Community care. Training. Giving back. Adventure. Quality time. There's always something worth doing together.

Our first challenge drops August 1st.

How to participate

Follow along each month and join in however feels right to you. Use #PLPGoodCitizen to share your participation, and tag a friend to bring them along — the more good citizens, the better.

We're looking for photos that capture your participation — and we mean that loosely. If the challenge is a sunset walk and the sunset is what moved you, post the sunset. If it's your dog's face after a long hike, post that. If it's you and a friend picking up litter in the park, post that. Whatever best represents the moment.

We also know people can be shy — ourselves included. A DM with a written note works just as well. And even a kind comment on someone else's post counts — building this community means showing up for each other, not just for the prize. No pressure to perform.

During the last week of each month, we'll select a monthly winner and runner-ups. The monthly winner receives a $100 site credit. Runner-ups and everyone who participates by tagging us are eligible for a chance to win coupon codes — because showing up matters.

How we choose

We're looking for creativity or wholehearted commitment to the challenge. We're also suckers for a cute dog face — so there's that.

For captions — we'd love for this to be something that uplifts and inspires others. Use #PLPGoodCitizen and tag a friend to spread the word and bring more good citizens into the fold.

Good luck. Your good dog deserves a good citizen.
